Darby O'Gill's Somewhat Complete and Conspicuously Inexpensive Songbook is
a free, on-line collection of song lyrics and, when available, chord charts and
copyright information. Songs are continually being added to this collection. If you
do not find a song herein that you would like to see, please send us an
email and we
will do our utmost to research and include your request.

The majority of songs in this book are Celtic folk songs, particularly Irish pieces.
We will give special attention to songs recorded, written or performed by the Irish
Stage Show Band, Darby O'Gill; but this book is not exclusive to those songs.

The songs appearing in this songbook are presented here for "fair use", for the
purpose of education. Songs will be removed from this collection at the request of
the copyright owner.

Songs that fall within the Public Domain appear here in version form. We do not
recommend they be performed as noted here. Singers should feel free to alter the
lyric and music of such songs to suit one's taste.

Any questions, comments and suggestions should be directed to
Darby by email.
